FMP2:Scene 1 Environment Setup and Development

Scene 1 depicts the protagonist and her mentor training within a kind of spiritual realm. From a narrative perspective, this sequence can also be understood as a fragment of the protagonist’s memory, revealing how the mentor once controlled and restrained her, while constantly observing her growth.

For the environment design, I envisioned a space that resembles a training ground. Since it exists within a spiritual or mental landscape, I decided to use predominantly blue tones to reinforce the surreal and introspective mood. The assets in this scene mainly include stone materials, candles, and fire elements, aiming to create a solemn, ritual-like atmosphere that emphasises confrontation and discipline.

These are my main references. I feel that both the atmosphere and lighting strongly align with how I imagine this scene to look.

FMP1:Story Breakdown and Atmosphere Overview

My final major project continues the narrative I developed last semester, with some revisions to the plot and additional character background. All three main characters were fully modelled and rigged by me from scratch. The story centres on themes of conspiracy and redemption, following a pilgrim’s journey towards a sacred temple.

Most of my work focuses on character modelling, environment construction, and lighting. My aim is to create a Gothic, Dark Souls-inspired atmosphere for the audience.

The project title is RING OF Eternal Eclipse, and the main storyline tells the tale of a pilgrim travelling to the Holy Sanctuary on a ritual pilgrimage.
